• Myotherapy is a manual therapy (or treatment program) that aims at treating and managing soft tissues injuries using wide range of techniques from massage, dry needling, taping, heat/ice pack and motor re-training exercises (corrective exercises) to name a few.  It is an advanced form of treatment program that always combines remedial massage therapy with other more advanced soft tissues therapy techniques such as Dry Needling, TENS machine  along with corrective exercises to address issues in pain relief, muscle conditioning, restoring mobility, as well as strengthening. It is a form of therapy that is very muscle-oriented ("Myo-" stands for Muscle).

A myotherapist uses their supporting knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, pathology, the clients' lifestyle and history to understand the relationships between the musculoskeletal structures and the cause of the pain.

Myotherapy involves assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction.  Myotherapy can be your first point of  contact as we are qualified to assess your conditions and refer you to the appropriate professionals such as a physiotherapist or a sports scientist according to your condition's severity. There are cases which are contra-indicated with myotherapy treatment so please give us a call for further enquiry.
